Senior Manager-Revenue Operations

About the Role.

We are looking for a Senior Manager-Revenue Operations to join the Finance team.

You will report to Associate DirectorFinance.

You will oversee the full spectrum of revenue management functions, from revenue recognition to billing and collections, ensuring all processes comply with US GAAP (ASC606).

You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, FP&A and Legal to optimize revenue and ensure that cash flow and billing processes are smooth and effective.

A Day in the Life.

Track and manage the cash flow to ensure that there are sufficient funds available to meet operational needs.

Develop short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts to anticipate future financial needs and optimize cash balances.

Maintain and monitor bank accounts, ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately and efficiently.

Execute and monitor transactions such as wire transfers, ACH payments, and other banking activities.

Identify and recommend strategies for optimizing liquidity, including managing credit facilities, and short-term borrowing or investing excess cash.

Monitor and manage liquidity risk, ensuring the organization can meet its financial commitments even during adverse conditions.

Monitor and manage the organizations exposure to currency risk through hedging strategies, forward contracts, or currency swaps.

Oversee and execute treasury-related transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Develop and enforce treasury policies and procedures to ensure efficient and secure treasury operations.

Reconcile treasury transactions with the general ledger and resolve any discrepancies.

Maintain strong internal controls over treasury operations to prevent fraud and ensure the accuracy of financial data.

Work closely with other departments, such as accounting, finance, and legal, to ensure alignment on financial strategies and objectives.

Lead the revenue recognition process in compliance with ASC 606 for SaaS subscription models.

Ensure accurate monthly and quarterly close process for revenue, including variance analysis, reconciliations and reporting.

Oversee and streamline the end-to-end billing process, ensuring that invoices are accurately generated and sent in a timely manner.

Monitor relevant changes in USGAAP to ensure revenue recognition policies and procedures are complying.

Implement and monitor effective collections process, minimizing outstanding receivables and ensuring strong cash flow management.

Develop and maintain internal controls around billing and collection process to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory environment.

Manage all revenue recognition matters with the external audit firm.

Partner with Legal and Sales to review and approve contracts for revenue recognition, billing terms, and collection policies.

Lead, mentor and develop a team if revenue, billing and collections professionals.

What You Need.

10+ years of experience in the similar role.

SAAS or IT experience is preferred.

CA/CPA.
