Senior Automation Engineer - Selenium (4-6 yrs)

About the Role :

- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automation Engineer with expertise in Selenium to join our dynamic Quality Assurance team.

- As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by designing, developing, and executing robust and maintainable automated tests.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Selenium WebDriver and Java.

- Create and maintain test scripts, test data, and test environments for automated tests.

- Execute automated tests and analyze test results.

- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.

- Develop and execute API tests using tools like Rest Assured or Karate.

- Validate API responses for accuracy, performance, and security.

- Participate in the creation of test plans and test strategies.

- Identify and analyze test requirements.

- Design and implement effective test coverage strategies.

- Troubleshoot and debug test failures.

- Investigate and resolve issues related to test automation frameworks and tools.

- Collaborate effectively with developers, testers, and other stakeholders.

- Communicate test results and findings effectively to the team.

- Participate in Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

Qualifications :

Essential :

- 4-6 years of experience in software testing with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.

- Strong proficiency in Java programming.

- Experience with API testing using tools like Rest Assured or Karate.

- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.

- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
