Senior Business Analyst (5-6 yrs)

About the Role :

- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team.

- As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions.

- You will be responsible for eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, and ensuring that the final solution meets the needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities :

- Conduct thorough business process analysis and requirements gathering workshops with stakeholders.

- Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements, including user stories, use cases, and process flows.

- Identify and document business rules, constraints, and assumptions.

- Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather and validate requirements.

- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and design documents.

- Create data models, process flows, and user interface mockups.

- Develop and maintain system documentation, including user manuals and training materials.

- Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation to implementation.

- Collaborate effectively with project managers, developers, testers, and other stakeholders.

- Facilitate communication and resolve conflicts between stakeholders.

- Monitor project progress and identify and mitigate potential risks.

- Analyze data and identify trends and patterns.

- Develop data models and data flows to support business requirements.

- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the market domain and industry trends.

- Leverage market knowledge to inform business decisions and solution design.

Qualifications :

Essential :

- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience with business process modeling and documentation techniques.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred :

- Experience in the financial services industry (preferred but not required).

- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau).

- Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

- Experience with business process modeling tools (e.g., BPMN).

- Industry-recognized certifications (e.g., IIBA certifications).
