Assistant Manager - Direct Taxation - Big4 - CA (4-6 yrs)

We are hiring for an esteemed client of Innoquest that is (a large brokerage firm operating globally) Looking for an Assistant Manager/Manager candidate

Job Profile:

We are looking for a qualified chartered accountant with minimum 2 years of experience from Big 4 organization Post qualifying CA .

Key Responsibilities :

a) Prepare advance tax, TDS, tax audit reports, tax returns and handle various other direct tax compliances and reconcile the same with the books of accounts

b) Having knowledge and experience of international tax legislation and related compliances.

c) Ensure timely filing of returns and payment of taxes.

d) Assist in the preparation of tax provisions and related financial statement disclosures.

e) Advise on the tax implications of business decisions and transactions.

f) Handling assessments. audits and litigations independently along with internal stakeholder and consultants

g) Leading and managing a team of professionals, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and monitoring their performance.

h) Work collaboratively with other tax professionals and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow and communication.

i) Developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for compliances and reporting.

Other Requirements/Preferred skills:

a) Strong understanding of Income tax and related laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.

b) Knowledge of SOX compliances and fixed asset management would be additional advantage.

c) Proficiency in using tax software and tools for GST compliance and reporting.

d) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

e) Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

f) Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

g) Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.

h) Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
