POSITION: Senior Cloud Architect

Position Overview:

The Senior Cloud Architect will serve as a key technical leader, responsible for designing and implementing robust cloud solutions while playing a pivotal role in converting opportunities into wins. In addition to technical delivery, the architect will collaborate with sales and presales teams, respond to RFPs, and showcase technical expertise to influence and secure client decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership

• Architect enterprise-grade cloud solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud that are scalable, secure, and cost-efficient.
• Lead application modernization initiatives, including microservices, serverless computing, and cloud-native design patterns.
• Oversee end-to-end cloud migration projects, ensuring alignment with client business goals and technical requirements.
• Develop hybrid and multi-cloud strategies, emphasizing flexibility, performance, and resilience.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and DevSecOps principles to drive automation and agility.
• Establish cloud governance frameworks to ensure compliance with regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.

Sales & Presales Enablement

• Collaborate with sales and presales teams to craft compelling proposals and technical solutions for RFPs and client presentations.
• Analyze client requirements, develop solution roadmaps, and create technical blueprints tailored to business objectives.
• Participate in client workshops and discussions to articulate value propositions, resolve technical challenges, and build trust.
• Act as a technical authority in meetings, ensuring alignment between client needs and Innominds' capabilities.
• Contribute to deal strategy and partner with sales teams to drive deal closures, ensuring the technical feasibility of proposed solutions.

Business Value & Relationship Building

• Partner with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and client stakeholders, to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through cloud adoption and digital transformation journeys.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional Innominds services based on client needs.

Thought Leadership & Team Development

• Mentor and guide engineering teams on best practices in cloud architecture, modernization, and delivery.
• Contribute to thought leadership through blogs, white papers, and participation in industry events.
• Foster a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within the organization.

Qualifications:

Experience:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years in IT, with 4+ years focused on cloud architecture, technical presales, and delivery, 3+ years as a cloud architect.
• Proven experience in leading complex cloud transformation projects in enterprise environments.
• Track record of working with sales teams to secure client deals through technical expertise.

Technical Expertise:

• Proficiency in at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Deep understanding of cloud computing models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and architecture principles.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and other cloud-native tools.
• Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Java, or Go.
• Strong knowledge of databases, storage, networking, and cloud-native tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and decision-making.

Presales & RFP Experience:

• Demonstrated ability to respond to RFPs, develop solution designs, and craft winning technical proposals.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with experience presenting to executive-level stakeholders.
• Analyze client requirements, develop solution roadmaps, and create technical blueprints tailored to business objectives.
• Partner with marketing and product teams to showcase Innominds' technical capabilities through impactful demos, proof-of-concepts, and case studies.
• Leverage deep technical expertise to differentiate Innominds in competitive sales cycles, addressing client pain points and articulating value propositions.
• Participate in technical due diligence for prospective deals, identifying risks and opportunities to strengthen the proposal strategy.
• Act as a technical evangelist, delivering persuasive presentations that resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Certifications:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect (or equivalent).
• Additional certifications in DevOps (e.g., Kubernetes Administrator, Terraform Associate, AWS DevOps Engineer) are highly desirable.
• Advanced security certifications (e.g., AWS Security Specialty, Certified Cloud Security Professional - CCSP) are a strong plus.
