Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced System Administrator / Linux Administrator to join our dynamic IT team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Linux-based systems, providing hands-on support for system performance and security, and assisting with complex debugging tasks.

While experience with Elasticsearch and databases is good to have, your primary focus will be on Linux system administration and troubleshooting.

Skills & Qualifications :

Education & Experience :

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.

- Proven experience as a Linux System Administrator with hands-on troubleshooting expertise.

- Strong familiarity with Linux operating systems (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL).

Technical Skills :

- In-depth experience with Linux system administration, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

- Experience with system monitoring tools (e., Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus).

- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Bash, Python, or similar).

- Familiarity with networking concepts (DNS, NFS, DHCP, etc.) and system security best practices.

Good to Have Skills :

- Elasticsearch : Experience in setting up, managing, and troubleshooting Elasticsearch clusters.

- Database Management : Familiarity with relational (e.MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL databases (e., MongoDB).

- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).

- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) and virtualization tools (VMware, KVM).

Soft Skills :

- Strong problem-solving abilities with a hands-on approach to resolving issues.

- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
