Job Description

OVERVIEW: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Corporate Risk and Compliance Department.

The candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation of corporate compliance initiatives, leading ISO certifications (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO/IEC 27001:2022), risk management, duty of care, and related compliances within the IPE Global Group and its subsidiaries.

The Executive will collaborate closely with the Director of CRC and other key stakeholders to maintain a robust framework for compliance and risk management.

Roles & Responsibilities:.

Corporate Compliance Initiatives:.

Work closely with the Director of CRC to implement and monitor corporate compliance initiatives across the organization.

Develop, update, and maintain compliance policies and procedures in alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to compliance standards and identify areas for improvement.

Third-Party Assessments/Compliances:.

Coordinate and respond to third-party assessments, audits, and compliance reviews initiated by external entities, such as regulatory bodies, clients, or certification agencies.

Liaise with relevant stakeholders for e g Administration, Finance, Human Resources, Business and key stakeholders in the IPE Global Group to gather necessary documentation, information, and evidence for assessments.

Prepare comprehensive responses to assessment findings, addressing any identified non-conformities and implementing corrective actions as required.

Maintain a repository of documentation and evidence to support compliance with third-party requirements and standards.

Provide guidance and support to internal departments undergoing third-party assessments or EoIs/RFPs , ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries and requests.

Monitor changes in third-party requirements and regulations, and proactively update compliance measures and processes accordingly.

Conduct comprehensive due diligence on prospective suppliers and/or partners to evaluate their capacity, systems, policies and processes to have a much better understanding of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and risks in working with them.

This includes reviewing their legal standing, regulatory compliance, and previous performance to identify any potential risks, such as financial insolvency, legal disputes, or regulatory violations.

Collaborate with procurement, legal and risk team to mitigate potential contract risks and ensure alignment with organizational policies.

To properly maintain the documentation of all aspects of the internal and external due diligence process, including detailed records of assessments, findings, and any risk mitigation measures taken, as well as copies of all relevant legal, financial, and compliance documents.

Risk Management:.

Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the organization.

Develop and implement risk management strategies and frameworks to minimize potential risks and enhance business resilience.

Monitor risk indicators and trends, and provide timely reports and recommendations to senior management.

Duty of Care:.

Establish and oversee processes to ensure the duty of care towards employees and consultants, including health, safety, and security measures.

Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on duty of care responsibilities and best practices.

Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Stakeholder Engagement:.

Act as a central point of contact for corporate compliance, risk management, and duty of care-related matters.

Collaborate with departments such as Administration, Finance, Human Resources, and Business to integrate compliance requirements into business processes.

Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote a culture of compliance and risk awareness.

Skills and Qualifications:.

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Compliance, or related field.

Masters degree preferred.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of all compliance-related activities and processes.

Experience in implementing and maintaining ISO certifications (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO/IRC 27001:2022) is desirable.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate compliance, risk management, or related fields.

Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices related to compliance and risk management.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and collaborate with diverse teams.

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and compliance management software.
