Job Description

Job Title
Backbase Developer
Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Backbase applications, adhering to best practices and coding standards.

Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers, architects, and business analysts to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet project objectives.

Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create responsive, user-friendly interfaces.

Create responsive and cross-browser compatible user interfaces.

Customize and extend Backbase features and components to meet project requirements.

Integrate third-party services and APIs to enhance Backbase functionality.

Perform unit and integration testing to ensure code quality and functionality.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, functionality, and security.

Optimize performance and ensure a smooth user experience.

Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure coding standards are followed.

Contribute to the technical design and architecture of applications.

Stay updated with the latest Backbase technologies and industry trends.

Work with Agile/Scrum teams to deliver features on time.
Technical and Professional Requirements:

Primary skills:Technology->Java->Springboot,Technology->Portal->Backbase,Technology->UI & Markup Language->HTML5
Preferred Skills:
Technology->UI & Markup Language->HTML5
Technology->Portal->Backbase
Technology->Java->Springboot

Additional Responsibilities:

Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.

Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks like Angular or React.

Experience of Backbase services like CXP, Portal, DBS, and Identity and APIs.

Experience in responsive design principles, best practices, and accessibility standards.

Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.

Experience in microservices architecture.

Strong understanding of API security, including OAuth2, JWT, etc.

Experience in unit testing and test-driven development (TDD).

Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes).

Understanding of database concepts and SQL.

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
