Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

A Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Job Description:

• Experienced in any of IT Infrastructure technologies such as Windows, Linux/Unix, VMware, Routing & Switching, Databases, Backup and storage technologies, Cloud technologies, UC, OpenShift, App support and automation tools.
• Experienced in Observability tools, and proactive monitoring
• Have experience in transforming traditional IT Ops into SRE ops with understanding of SLI/SLOs etc.
• Experienced in Automating, and improving the reliability, performance, and availability of IT Infrastructure and network
• Creating scalable and reliable IT Infrastructure and network
• Ensuring the underlying IT infrastructure and network is running smoothly
• Minimizing downtime and ensuring the availability of critical applications and services
• Using automation tools such as Ansible to automate IT infrastructure tasks, such as system management and application monitoring.

SRE key expectations:

• A Bachelors degree in Engineering with 7-15 years experience in IT Infrastructure technologies
• 2-5 years of experience in SRE
• In depth understanding of IT Infrastructure/Network and operations
• A proven ability and experience to code /automate using Ansible will be good to have/ preferred.Role & responsibilities
