Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cluster Management: Administer and optimize cluster-based services, focusing on data protection and system reliability.
2. Monitoring & Alerts: Implement and manage monitoring tools, configure alerts, and proactively detect and address cluster anomalies.
3. SRE Practices: Use SRE principles to develop scalable and highly reliable system architectures.
4. Log Analysis & Debugging: Conduct log analysis and debugging to identify and resolve system issues, with deep expertise in Linux environments.
5. System Troubleshooting: Handle storage, system, and network issues, following best practices to minimize downtime and data loss.
6. Customer Support: Provide remote troubleshooting support to customers and guide them through technical issues.
7. Customer Education: Educate customers on system maintenance and data protection strategies to foster self-reliance and prevent future issues.
8. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and SRE methodologies to drive operational improvements.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in System Administration, with a focus on data protection, cluster-based service management, and SRE practices.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, system architecture, and network infrastructure.
• Experience with scripting and automation tools to optimize system operations.
• Ability to conduct sophisticated log analysis and debugging.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
