PLSQL Lead

Should have a good knowledge in Advanced PL/SQL Should have very good communication skills/interpersonal skills and experience in interacting with North America counterparts/clients Should have exposure to Unix and shell scripting Exposure to debugging and troubleshooting is an added advantage Should be willing to work in North America shift timings and providing on-call support on weekends Exposure to the financial domain is an added advantage Responsible for the design, development, coding, testing, debugging and documentation of applications to satisfy the requirements of user areas May include hands-on new development support, maintenance or enhancement of existing applications Commit to and actively work to remain knowledgeable in latest coding languages, database software, system, standards Model, design and maintain data warehouse including table structures, stored procedures, views and functions Working knowledge of Quest SQL Navigator or Toad Implement shared components and frameworks using PL/SQL in a Linux/Solaris based environment Develop new batch processes for data migration and transformation The points below have been carefully considered as being essential for the role Excellent technical skills in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL Excellent skills with SQL (advance queries, tuning) Primary skills: Oracle->PL,SQL Knowledge of more than one technology Basics of Architecture and Design fundamentals Knowledge of Testing tools Knowledge of agile methodologies Understanding of Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects Understanding of one or more Estimation methodologies, Knowledge of Quality processes Basics of business domain to understand the business requirements Analytical abilities, Strong Technical Skills, Good communication skills Good understanding of the technology and domain Ability to demonstrate a sound understanding of software quality assurance principles, SOLID design principles and modelling methods Awareness of latest technologies and trends Excellent problem solving, analytical and debugging skills
