Position Overview :

The O365 and Intune Operations Specialist will manage and support various security functions related to Microsoft Office 365, Intune, Local Administrator Password Solution (LAPS), and cybersecurity awareness initiatives.

The role focuses on ensuring compliance, implementing security policies, troubleshooting issues, and creating detailed dashboards and reports.

The candidate will play a key role in managing security and compliance for email, devices, and user accounts while driving cybersecurity awareness campaigns.

Key Responsibilities :

Office 365 Administration and Security :

- Policy Enforcement and Security Management.

- Enforce password policies and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) configurations.

- Investigate account lockouts, mailbox activity, and message tracking issues.

- Configure and manage mail flow rules, SMTP relay, and quarantine management.

Advanced Threat Protection :

- Update and manage Safe Attachments and Safe Links policies.

- Investigate spam and phishing emails and manage blocklists/allowlists.

- Monitor and configure Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and alerts.

Encryption and Email Management :

- Provide support for encrypted emails, S/MIME certificates, and Information Rights Management (IRM).

- Manage shared mailbox permissions, delegated access, and conditional access policies for email.

Discovery and Legal Compliance :

- Manage retention policies, legal holds, and compromised account recovery processes.

- Respond to malware outbreaks and phishing campaigns effectively.

- Monitor security dashboards and audit logs for compliance and anomalies.

Automation and Reporting :

- Automate mail flow management using PowerShell.

- Configure email alerts and provide regular usage and compliance reports.

- Integrate O365 systems with SIEM tools for centralized monitoring.

- Intune Administration and Device Compliance.

Policy Creation and Enforcement :

- Develop and enforce compliance and app protection policies for devices.

- Monitor non-compliant devices and enforce conditional access policies.

- Configure profiles for endpoint security settings and deploy them across devices.

Device Management and Security :

- Manage remote device wipe, lock, and troubleshooting for lost or stolen devices.

- Configure and monitor antivirus/antimalware settings and update compliance.

- Conduct security baseline reviews and ensure identity protection setups.

Application and Group Management :

- Deploy and configure applications while monitoring compliance.

- Manage user groups and enforce group policy settings for enhanced security.

Reporting and Incident Response :

- Provide detailed device health reports and activity log monitoring.

- Configure and monitor BitLocker management and secure storage solutions.

- Coordinate security incident responses and integrate systems with SIEM tools.

Cybersecurity Awareness Program :

- Campaign and Training Execution.

- Distribute awareness posters and schedule training campaigns.

- Assign training modules and manage defaulters.

Coordination and Reporting :

- Coordinate with providers for smooth campaign execution.

- Track and report activity status to leadership and stakeholders.

- Local Administrator Password Solution (LAPS).

Password Management :

- Monitor and sync local password statuses across systems.

- Oversee password rotation and retrieval audits.

Access Control and Policy Updates :

- Manage access controls and update policies for improved security.

- Ensure effective implementation of password management practices.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

- 8+ years of experience in Office 365, Intune administration, and cybersecurity operations.

- Proficiency in managing large datasets and creating dashboards/reports using Excel and Power BI.

- Strong knowledge of compliance and security policies, especially for O365 and Intune.

- Familiarity with SIEM solutions and scripting (e.g, PowerShell) is a plus.
