Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our EPM development team at Koch Inc. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. You will work with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring the development of software solutions that align with our strategic goals. We are looking for individuals who are intellectually curious, excellent communicators, and possess a strong understanding of business processes and software development.

Essential Duties

Collaborate with stakeholders and agile development teams to gather and define business requirements.

Conduct detailed business process analysis and create clear documentation to support software development projects.

Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories.

Facilitate effective communication between business and technical teams, ensuring mutual understanding and alignment.

Support the development team by clarifying requirements and providing feedback during the development process.

Conduct research and analysis to stay informed on industry trends and best practices in software development and business analysis.

Assist in the creation of test plans and participate in the testing process to ensure that the final product meets business requirements.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to support ongoing and future projects.

Basic Qualifications

Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a software development environment.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex business problems and propose effective solutions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

Familiarity with software development processes and methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience with business process modeling and requirements management tools (e. g. , UML, BPMN).

Basic knowledge in SQL, database design and multi-dimensional databases are a plus

Understanding of GenAI and related area like machine learning.

Strong understanding of data analysis and visualization tools.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Experience in technology-driven industries or with enterprise performance management platforms.
