Business Analyst (Insurance Domain)

Requirements Gathering:

• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across different levels of the organization.
  
• Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather information and understand business processes.
  
• Create detailed requirements specifications, including use cases, process flows, and data models.
  

Business Analysis:

• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  
• Develop business cases to justify proposed solutions and measure their impact.
  

Solution Design:

• Collaborate with technical teams to design and develop solutions that meet business requirements.
  
• Ensure that solutions align with the overall business strategy and architecture.
  

Testing and Implementation:

• Support the development and execution of test plans.
  
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely implementation of solutions.
  

Post-Implementation Support:

• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for implemented solutions.
  
• Monitor performance and identify areas for optimization.

Requirements Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  
• 5-9 years of experience in business analysis, with a strong focus on the insurance domain.
  
• In-depth understanding of the insurance lifecycle, including underwriting, policy administration, claims processing, and risk management.
  
• Proven ability to gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Experience with business analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., UML, BPMN).
  

Preferred:

• Experience with insurance industry software applications.
  
• Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools.
  
• Good to have : LOMA (Life Office Management Association) certification or equivalent.
