Senior Python Developer (POS/ERP)

Role & responsibilities

Python Development:

• Develop efficient and scalable POS/ERP modules using Python.
• Write clean, maintainable, and modular code following industry best practices.

Unix/Linux Experience:

• Work in Unix/Linux environments, ensuring seamless integration of POS/ERP applications.

POS/ERP Application Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust POS/ERP applications in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Enhance ERP features to improve performance, security, and user experience.

Testing & Quality Assurance:

• Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies.
• Identify and fix bugs, continuously improving code quality.

Data Structures & Normalization:

• Design and optimize data storage and retrieval within ERP databases.
• Ensure data normalization and integrity to optimize workflows.

CI/CD Implementation:

• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deployment automation.
• Automate testing and deployment processes for streamlined development.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of proven experience in Python development (focused on POS/ERP applications).
• Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and enterprise application integration.
• Experience in data structures and data normalization techniques.
• Proficiency in automated testing (unit, functional, integration, and failure testing) within a CI/CD environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with experience in Agile development.
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
