Job Description

Job Title: Senior Sales Trainer

Mode : Onsite

Location : New Delhi, Okhla Phase 1

Working Days : 5.5 days (rotational off)



Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sales Trainer to join our organization. The Senior Sales Trainer will be responsible for conducting comprehensive sales, product, and process training programs for our sales teams. The primary objective is to bridge skills gaps, optimize training content, and enhance the overall performance and revenue generation capabilities of our sales teams. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our sales teams possess the necessary skills and knowledge to achieve their goals and contribute to the company's success.


Responsibilities

Optimize and Create Training Content:

    • Identify areas for improvement in existing training programs and develop new training initiatives.
    • Create engaging and relevant training content for new programs and ensure its effectiveness.
    • Conduct training sessions and assess the impact of training on sales team performance.

Conduct Sales, Product, and Process Training:

    • Schedule and deliver effective sales, product, and process training sessions to sales teams.
    • Focus on developing the skills and knowledge required for achieving sales targets and enhancing customer satisfaction.
    • Utilize various training methods, including classroom training, online modules, workshops, and role-playing exercises.

Improve External Communication:

    • Conduct email and pitch audits to enhance the quality and effectiveness of external communication.
    • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to sales teams to improve their communication skills.

New Hire Training and On-the-Job Training (OJT):

    • Deliver comprehensive training on sales processes, products, and systems to new hires.
    • Conduct OJT sessions to reinforce training and provide hands-on experience in sales pitches, email communication, and other relevant areas.
    • Train new and existing resources on processes, ensuring adherence and compliance.

Process Optimization and Training:

    • Develop and document process standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency.
    • Identify deviations in existing processes and conduct process training to address knowledge gaps.
    • Regularly audit adherence to processes and provide guidance for improvement.

Maintain Training Records and Curriculum Database:

    • Ensure the curriculum database is up-to-date with the latest training materials and resources.
    • Keep accurate records of training sessions, feedback scores, and training outcomes.
    • Generate reports on training effectiveness, productivity, and sales support team performance.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Trainer or in a similar training role.
  • In-depth knowledge of sales techniques, product knowledge, and sales processes.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to assess training needs, develop content, and deliver engaging training sessions.
  • Proficiency in creating training materials using various tools and platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess training impact and recommend improvements.
  • Familiarity with process documentation and adherence.
  • Experience in maintaining training records and generating reports.
