Sr. Specialist - IT

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain server infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot server-related issues and implement timely solutions.
• Collaborate with the IT team to plan and execute server upgrades and migrations.
• Provide technical support for end-users, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktop operating systems and applications.
• Collaborate with the IT helpdesk to address user-reported problems promptly.
• Assist in project planning, coordination, and execution.
• Monitor project progress and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure that IT solutions align with business goals and requirements.
• Provide technical support for Microsoft 365 solutions and applications.
• Develop technical user documentation.
• Develop, maintain, and update Microsoft 365 governance documentation.
• Implement compliance and enforce ownership of applications and site content with stakeholders.
• Manage Microsoft 365 security administration in collaboration with the information security team.
• Provide escalation or 3rd level support for Service Desk issues that are escalated for troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge and experience in Network Administration, Information Technology, Network Security and Troubleshooting
• IT Infrastructure Specialist - 7+ years IT infrastructure specialist resources with IT-SecOps implementation experience.
• Ideally if they have ClearPass implementation experience as well that would be a bonus
• Excellent technical support and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related fields
• Experience in cloud computing, Microsoft systems, networking protocols and security protocols is preferred
• Strong attention to detail, good analytical skills and ability to learn quickly
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team and under pressure

Requirements:

1. 7+ years of experience in Office 365 administration & 1-5 years of experience in Networking

2. Strong scripting and development skills using PowerShell.

3. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Security using Active Directory, Azure Administration, and Microsoft 365 online groups.

4. Experience in developing technical user documentation.

5. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

6. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

7. Strong communication skills.
