Job Description
- Hands-on experience working in applications and batch production support.
- Experience in monitoring batch schedulers like Tidal, AutoSys, etc.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and HTML/CSS.
- Basic knowledge of Dynatrace and Splunk
- Basic knowledge of Service Now
- Experience and working knowledge of ITIL-compliant incident, problem, and change service management.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and customer support duties, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to individuals with diverse levels of seniority and technical competence.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize work effectively, and adapt during pressured situations.
- Monitor applications and batch jobs, troubleshoot, and escalate alerts that cannot be resolved to the application support team.
- Monitor and respond to open tickets submitted through an incident management system.
- Progress issues and provide relevant information for troubleshooting or clarification.
- Flexible in working shifts and weekend support to provide 24x7 application support.
- Ensure the performance of daily health checks of applications and scripts by the support team.
- Create and maintain troubleshooting guides and support documentation for specific assigned applications.
- Respond to customer requests as per SLA guidelines.
- Provide On call support for the P1 and P2 Incidents
