Job Title: Chargeback and Recovery Executive
Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented fresher to join our Chargeback and Recovery department as an Executive. This role involves managing chargeback disputes, implementing recovery strategies, and supporting risk mitigation efforts. The successful candidate will collaborate with merchants, partner banks, and internal teams to ensure efficient dispute resolution and recovery of funds while maintaining compliance with payment industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Chargeback Management:
• Receive, review, and process chargeback disputes from acquiring banks.
• Notify merchants about chargebacks and document case details in internal systems.
• Prepare and submit appropriate evidence (invoices, transaction records) to represent cases effectively.
• Recovery Efforts:
• Coordinate with merchants to collect additional documentation for dispute representation.
• Engage with banks and payment gateways to track chargeback progress and resolve cases favorably.
• Implement strategies to recover funds and reverse disputed transactions where applicable.
• Risk Mitigation and Process Improvement:
• Identify common chargeback reasons and recommend measures to minimize future disputes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve fraud detection and transaction monitoring.
• Data Management and Reporting:
• Maintain detailed records of chargeback and recovery cases.
• Prepare regular reports on chargeback trends, recovery performance, and risk indicators.

Requirements

• Fresh graduates with an interest in chargeback management, recovery processes, and financial risk mitigation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with merchants and financial institutions.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
• Analytical thinking with a problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn.
• Familiarity with payment processing systems or Visa/MasterCard chargeback guidelines is a plus.
