Position Summary

We are seeking a full-time engineer to join our engineering team, who will be responsible for developing Indus Actions next-gen platform.

We\u2019re looking for exceptional candidates who are excited about the opportunity to build a next-generation CivicTech and GovTech. The incumbent should be passionate about building awesome products by utilizing cutting-edge technologies, which in turn creates value for citizens nationally.

You will shape the company\u2019s current and future product development by converting the product roadmap into a reality. You must be passionate about tackling complex challenges faced byproduct development organizations.

The engineering team at Indus Action is agile and small, and everyone gets an opportunity to have their hands on multiple products and technologies, while simultaneously finding areas to focus on more closely over time.

This is a terrific opportunity to develop leading-edge technology products and be at the forefront of innovation to bridge the information gap while getting exposure to the CivicTech/GovTech landscape and contributing towards Indus Action\u2019s mission of \u2018enabling vulnerable families, sustainable access to legislated rights\u2019.

Requirements Education and Experience -

We believe that reaching our vision demands that we have the best and brightest group of leaders working to lead our organization. Here are the minimum qualifications we look for:

\u25CF Minimum Graduation Degree In B.E./B.Tech/BCA

\u25CF Background in Drupal required

\u25CF Minimum of 5 years of experience.

Knowledge and Technical Skills

4+ years of experience in Drupal development, with a strong portfolio of Drupal projects.
Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and MySQL.
Solid understanding of Drupal architecture, including custom module development and theming.
Experience with Drupal 8/9/10, including knowledge of the Drupal API and Drupal core concepts.
Good understanding of RESTful APIs and web services integration.
Expertise in designing, implementing, and managing MySQL databases.
Proficient in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
Experience with database optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
Knowledge of MySQL replication, backup, and recovery strategies.
Good understanding of Git and GitHub.
Broad knowledge of Python, React.js, and other technologies is an added advantage.
Knowledge of AWS and DevOps practices is an added advantage.
Strong project management skills with experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Benefits Compensation

The Technology Manager will be compensated based on the Indus Action \u2018s compensation bench-marking rubric. The range of compensation will be depending on qualifications, experience, role fitment.

Indus Action doesn\u2019t provide laptops to employees, however, it bears the maintenance costs up to INR 12,000 per annum.
