Job Description

We are seeking a full-time engineer to join our engineering team, who will be responsible for developing Indus Actions next-gen platform.

Were looking for exceptional candidates who are excited about the opportunity to build a next-generation CivicTech and GovTech. The incumbent should be passionate about building awesome products by utilizing cutting-edge technologies, which in turn creates value for citizens nationally.

You will shape the companycurrent and future product development by converting the product roadmap into a reality. You must be passionate about tackling complex challenges faced byproduct development organizations.

The engineering team at Indus Action is agile and small, and everyone gets an opportunity to have their hands on multiple products and technologies, while simultaneously finding areas to focus on more closely over time.

This is a terrific opportunity to develop leading-edge technology products and be at the forefront of innovation to bridge the information gap while getting exposure to the CivicTech/GovTech landscape and contributing towards Indus Actionmission of enabling vulnerable families, sustainable access to legislated rights.

Role and Responsibilities (KRAs)

Lead and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of technical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and stakeholders, to define project requirements and deliverables.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and documentation to track progress and ensure transparency.
Oversee the development and implementation of Python and React.js applications, providing technical guidance and support as needed.
Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
Identify and mitigate project risks, and manage changes to project scope and schedule.
Ensure high-quality project deliverables through rigorous testing and quality assurance processes.
Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, encouraging continuous improvement and learning.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements, design specifications, and user manuals.
Support the transition of projects from development to production, ensuring smooth handover and operational readiness.
