Skillset:

Technically Sound, Self-Motivated, Mechanical Design Calculations, Proficient in CAD work (SolidWorks, AutoCAD preferred), Creative Thinking, Problem Solving, Ability to review and interpret technical drawings and specifications, Knowledge of GD&T, Knowledge of drafting standards and international material standards, Competent in Microsoft computer skills, good verbal and written communication and presentation skills, Good Planning, Time management & execution, Leadership skills.

Brief Tasks:

Create & review concept design, GA layouts, detailed assemblies and part drawings in AutoCAD or SolidWorks for New Product Development Projects. Modification & Improvement of existing equipment.

Design & Selection of Products required for Equipment such as actuators, motors, gearbox, bearings etc.

Perform design calculations required for new machine development.

Develop New Vendors, Create Specifications, Communicate effectively and professionally with Vendors.

Create & maintain design documents such as design programs, Instruction & Maintenance Manuals, QAP, Bought out specification.

Perform quality checks of drawings & documents.

Utilize the PLM (Teamcenter X) system for Drawing/documentation control & Workflow.

Critical Impact:

Design & Development of New Products, Fabrication Review, Inspection & Trials, Team Leader
