Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our team. The Technical Writer will be responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining high-quality documentation that effectively communicates information to the target audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and edit telecom product documentation for hardware and software products, which includes Troubleshooting Manuals, Installation Manuals, User Manuals, and so on.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather information and translate it into user-friendly documentation.
- Update existing documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with current product versions.
- Edit and proofread technical content to ensure grammatical correctness and technical accuracy.
- Adhere to the style guide and participate in peer reviews.
Must Have:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Equivalent degree.
- Between 4 -6 years of technical writing experience
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Proficiency in VISIO
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent written, oral, and organizational skills
- Thorough understanding of technical publication standards such as MSTP, Chicago Manual of Style
- Experience writing product documentation for technical users
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Adaptability to learn new tools and technologies
Good to Have:
- Experience in the Telecom domain
- Proficiency with documentation tools
- Familiarity with AIML tools like Grammarly
Familiarity with Image editing tools like VISIO
