Job Description

The Manager in Production will oversee the manufacturing operations of solar modules, ensuring production targets are met while implementing best practices in efficiency and quality control. Extensive knowledge of the manufacturing process and best practices at the shop floor. Formulating & Achieving shift, daily, weekly & monthly production target while maintaining quality standards. 8. Successfully reduce cost & losses/utilized equipment capacity. Minimum of 10-15 Yrs of experience in mass production line & 150-200 team size handling.

• Roles & Responsibilities
• Ensuring high yield, cost reduction & productivity improvement by implementing new techniques
• Production Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations of the production line, ensuring adherence to production schedules and targets.
• Making a weekly, monthly and quarterly plan for production of Solar Panel / Module manufacturing as per customer requirement.
• Manpower Management: Oversee workforce allocation, ensuring adequate staffing levels and effective utilization of team members.
• Responsible to take monthly stock of running process material at the end of every month.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor quality metrics and ensure compliance with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001) and IMS processes.
• Monitor reports daily generated by the QC department and endeavour to rectify variations Inventory Management
• Ability to install the new PV module production line and best quality production on time

Job Specifications

• Age Group: 35- 45 Years
• Total Experience: >10 Yrs
• Essential Qualification: B. Tech / BE in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant field) or any post-graduation degree in technical.

Requisite Skills

Functional:

• - Must have a mass production handling capabilities.
• - Must have a IMS knowledge.
• - Knowledge on best practices of Solar manufacturing industry.
• Needs to communicate in at least 3-4 languages. (English, Hindi, etc)

Behavioural:

• - Strong decision-making capabilities.
• - Execution-focused with a track record of meeting production targets.
• - Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
• - Excellent planning and organizing skills.

Special Skills:

• - Familiarity with modern manufacturing concepts and lean manufacturing principles.
• - Experience with solar technology adaptation and integration into production processes.
