Asst. Manager (Civil Structural )

Role & responsibilities

• Report to the Civil Lead and assist in design reviews, status update to management.
• Prepare in-house designs and issue good for construction drawing for industrial structures and buildings.
• Prepare BOQ and tenders for civil works.
• Coordinate the work with the construction team for work progress and required support from head office.
• Visit site for periodic inspection of site and create reports.

Preferred candidate profile

• Knowledge of Indian codes and standards like IS 456, 1893, 875 and IS 800.
• Knowledge of construction materials like steel, concrete, masonry etc.
• Basic experience of AutoCAD or any drafting software.
• Good on STAAD / other design software
• Can independently / with minimum support carry out design work.
• Ability to perform design calculations for elements either in Steel or concrete like beams, columns, foundations etc.
• Ability to provide inputs to preparation of drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelors /Masters in Civil Engineering. 5-8 years in Water/ Oil and gas/ Power plant and Industrial structures with a major contractor or consultant predominantly performing detail design. Preferably Registered Engineer in Training (ElT) or member of professional engineering society as applicable.

Preferred

• Candidates with experience of industrial structures, Pre-Engineered buildings would be preferred
