JR Production Engineer

We are seeking a Junior Production Engineer to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for manufacturing, an understanding of production processes, and strong coordination and planning abilities. This role involves overseeing stock work orders, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring smooth production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and manage stock work orders for production.
• Generate and follow up on stock purchase orders to ensure timely material availability.
• Prepare and execute machine shop plans in line with production requirements.
• Monitor and track stock items to maintain optimal levels.
• Raise raw material shortages and ensure timely procurement for production needs.
• Collaborate with the production team and other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) or Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical (BE)
• Experience: 1-2 years in a Production department (preferably in the valves, pumps, or machinery industry)
• Skills:
• Strong planning and coordination abilities
• Solid knowledge of machining and production processes
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings
