Team Lead - Financial Planning & Analysis (6-8 yrs)

Job Summary:

- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance professional to join our team on a contract basis.

- This role will focus on financial planning and analysis (FP&A), variance analysis, financial reporting, and audits, supporting our M&A activities.

- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, advanced Excel skills, experience with Power BI, and a proven ability to work independently and contribute effectively to a team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Accounting and Controls: Maintain knowledge of accounting controls and checks, adjusting entries, and standard month-end tasks.

- Review financial accounting team bookings.

- Data Management: Coordinate with various teams for data management, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

- Financial Systems: Access finance systems for data extraction and modification.

- Develop and improve queries to enhance data retrieval and analysis.

- Reporting: Prepare the initial drafts of reports (Excel-based) for weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reporting on financial performance.

- Variance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis, investigate discrepancies, and provide insightful commentary on financial performance.

- Power BI Dashboard Development: Collaborate with the IT team to create and maintain Power BI dashboards.

- Define user requirements, ensuring dashboards are regularly updated and meet business needs.

- Business Review Preparation: Prepare and consolidate base files for Business Reviews, contributing to the preparation of comprehensive financial presentations.
