Job Description
Indic, a leader in electronic manufacturing services, is seeking a creative and technically skilled Designer to join our team. This role is essential for developing innovative design solutions for electronic products and systems, ensuring both functionality and manufacturability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronic design and a passion for transforming ideas into tangible products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design electronic systems, components, and products by developing and testing specifications and methods.
- Evaluate the function, safety, and quality of electronic systems and products.
- Create detailed electronic design documentation for manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with engineers and other designers to understand design requirements and provide innovative solutions.
- Use software to create electronic designs, including schematic capture and PCB layout.
- Conduct simulations and analysis to verify designs and improve performance.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure manufacturability and resolve any design issues during the prototype phase.
- Continuously update technical knowledge and skills by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies.
Qualifications:
- bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Design, or a closely related field.
- Proven experience as an EMS Designer or in a similar role in the electronics manufacturing industry.
- Strong proficiency with design software such as Altium Designer, Eagle CAD, or similar.
- Solid understanding of electronic components, circuitry, and systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Keen attention to detail with a high standard of accuracy in design and documentation.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex information effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
