Location: Kharghar Job Summary:

We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Lab Technicians to join our geotechnical and material testing team. The ideal candidates should have hands-on experience in testing various construction materials, including soil, aggregates, bituminous materials, cementitious materials, rock, concrete, steel, and other building materials. The role requires performing both laboratory and field tests in compliance with industry standards and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct laboratory and field tests on various construction materials.
• Perform Soil Testing such as GIA, Proctor, CBR, Atterberg Limits, Field Density, Triaxial, Direct Shear Test (DST), and Consolidation tests.
• Carry out Aggregate Testing for coarse and fine aggregates.
• Conduct Bituminous Material Testing, including all bitumen tests, bituminous job mix, and bituminous mix testing.
• Perform testing on cement, fly ash, GGBS, micro silica, and other pozzolanic materials.
• Conduct Rock Testing, including UCS, Point Load Index (PI), Water Absorption, Density, Porosity, Specific Gravity, Triaxial Test, Modulus of Elasticity, Poissons Ratio, Tensile Strength, Cherchar Abrasion, and Slake Ductility tests.
• Carry out Concrete Testing, including fresh and hardened concrete tests like bleeding, setting time, split tensile, abrasion test, and other strength assessments.
• Perform Steel Testing, including all standard mechanical and chemical tests.
• Conduct Field Testing, including Plate Load Test, Pile Load Test, Pile Integrity Test, Dynamic Pile Load Test, and Bridge Load Test.
• Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) on various structures.
• Test other building materials as required.
• Maintain accurate test records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment regularly.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment.

Requirements:

• 12th Science, BSC in all stream, B.Sc. in Geology, Diploma/Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Diploma/Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Computer Engineering or Material Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction material testing.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory and field-testing procedures.
• Familiarity with national and international testing standards (IS, ASTM, BS, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and work in a team environment.
• Willingness to travel for field tests when required.
• Should be Medically fit and can lit 25/30+ kg of weight.
