Lab Technician

Job Purpose

To carry out testing as assigned by laboratory Manager/Executive/Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

- To conduct all allotted tests as per the procedure / method given in the worksheet or as instructed by the Supervisor or above.

- To keep all necessary records of the tests conducted in the format given.

- To keep in and around the test area clean, and maintain impeccable housekeeping all around.

- To maintain the equipment logbook and calibration records up to-date.

- To give the required information about the progress of the jobs on hand to the coordinators.

- To bring to the notice of the Supervisor any discrepancy in test material, method or equipment.

Qualification, Skills & Experience

- Degree/Diploma in textiles or B.Sc [physics, Chemistry, Maths] with min 2 years of relevant experience in a textile testing laboratory.

- Good analytical skills.
