Taxation Manager- GIFT CITY

Purpose of the role;

We are evaluating Manager - Taxation for our GIFT CITY office, who has good experience in Taxation, Advisory Services, Financial Reporting etc., and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, optimizing tax strategies to minimize liabilities, and providing strategic guidance.

Key Responsibilities includes:

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Coordinating with internal and external audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with established guidelines.
• Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights and recommendations to clients.

Tax Planning and Compliance:

• Advise clients on tax planning strategies and help them optimize their tax positions.
• Ensure compliance with local and international tax laws and regulations.
• Prepare and review tax returns, including corporate, individual, and indirect taxes.

Advisory and Consultancy:

• Provide expert guidance on financial management, risk assessment, and business strategy.
• Assist clients in making informed decisions by conducting financial analysis and due diligence.
• Offer recommendations for process improvements and risk mitigation.

Regulatory Compliance and Governance:

• Stay up-to-date with financial regulations, accounting standards, and industry best practices.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements.
• Assist clients in implementing and maintaining robust internal controls and corporate governance frameworks.

Client Relationship Management:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and objectives.
• Act as a trusted advisor by providing timely and relevant financial advice and solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated services to clients.

Candidate Requirement:

• Qualified CA with minimum 2 years of experience.
• Hands-on experience in local laws & International Taxation norms.
• Good understanding on IFRS, RBI, SEZ rules & regulations.
• Keeping him/her self-abreast with changes in regulations.
• Excellent in building and maintenance client relationship.
• Excellent Communication Skills.
