Data Analyst - My Business

DescriptionThe Digital Data Analyst will play a critical role in delivering insights and recommendations that will drive improvements to our B2B customer portal experience. This person will be responsible for analyzing large sets of data, developing reports and visualizations, and presenting findings to stakeholders across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data and be able to use it to tell compelling stories that drive action.

Responsibilities

● Analyze and interpret large data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to our B2B customer portal

● Develop, drive, and track the definition of fundamental metrics

● Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that communicate key findings to stakeholders

● Establish relationships with all departments and levels of the organization in order to understand the information needs of each.

● Assist with any ad hoc requests or special projects that require data analysis.

Qualifications

● Undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or relevant experience

● Advanced SQL experience working with large datasets

● Experience supporting Business Analysts with reporting

Analyst must possess time management skills, demonstrate the ability to work independently, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

Must have skills

● Hands-on experience in Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Support of Relational Database (OLTP), Data Warehousing Systems (OLAP) and Data Marts.

● Data visualization with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, Power BI, or Alteryx

● Familiarity with customer journey mapping and customer experience best practices

Desired skills

● Prior experience in data analysis with Fortune 100+ company is preferred. Experience in the telecommunications industry is a plus

● Languages: SQL, PL/SQL, HTML, CSS, and/or XMLEducation/CertificationsUndergraduate degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or relevant experience
