IT Support Engineer - Bilingual(Japanese Language)

We are seeking experienced Bilingual (Japanese) IT Support Engineers to Provide front-line & technical support for end-users across Windows, Linux, and Mac OS environments. Also provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. The IT Support Engineer should be capable of handling both Level 1 (basic) and Level 2 (advanced) support tasks as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for users experiencing technical issues with IT infrastructure.
• Log and classify incidents and service requests, prioritizing them based on urgency and impact.
• Advanced troubleshooting of OS-related errors, application compatibility, and performance issues.
• Handling complex Active Directory tasks, including group policy updates and advanced user account management.
• Manually installing and deploying Windows updates, patches, and hotfixes when required.
• Managing advanced software deployment, including troubleshooting failed installations and package updates.
• Performing network diagnostics, including checking network shares, server connectivity, and resolving DNS issues.
• Disk and storage management tasks, including partitioning, cleanup, and optimizing storage performance.
• Monitoring server health and responding to alerts by analyzing logs and diagnosing high CPU or memory usage.
• Assisting with group policy management, troubleshooting, and enforcement.
• Providing advanced troubleshooting and support for Linux and Mac OS environments
• Handle Server related tasks like patch management, System Administration, Active directory etc.

Technical Skills:

• Operating System: Windows, Linux, etc
• Operations Tools: Service Now, Fresh Service, Jira etc.
• Server: Good knowledge and hands on with Windows Server 2016/19/22 , Ubuntu Server, RHEL, CentOS etc.
• Monitoring Tools: Nagios, Grafana, Solarwinds, PRTG etc.
• Deployment tools: AWS, Azure, SCCM, MDM, Terraform etc.
• Application: MS Office, Outlook, Active Directory, O365
• Cloud Platform: AWS/AZURE/Google cloud
• Network: VLAN/DHCP, DNS, VPN IP connectivity etc.
• Security Fundamentals: MFA, GPM, Antivirus, IAM etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience as System Administrator or should have handled Level 2 Infra support
• IT certifications like MCSA, MCSE, AWS, CCNA etc. are added advantage but not Mandatory.
• Knowledge & experience of O365, Azure, AWS , TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS etc.
• Knowledge of ITSM tools like ServiceNow, BMC, Fresh service etc.
• Knowledge of Monitoring tools for System performance.
