Role & responsibilities

• Welcoming guests: Greeting guests and making them feel at home
• Providing information: Informing guests about amenities, services, and local attractions
• Handling complaints: Addressing and resolving guest complaints
• Ensuring compliance: Ensuring compliance with health and quality standards
• Anticipating needs: Anticipating guest needs and building rapport with customers
• Offering assistance: Offering assistance with tasks such as confirming travel arrangements and taking messages
• Recording information: Recording information in a logbook or customer relationship management software program
• Upselling: Identifying opportunities to upsell room upgrades, services, and amenities
• Organizing events: Organizing events and conventions, and overseeing safety measures
• Serving as a site representative: Serving as the site representative during any on-site crisis, such as a fire or medical emergency
