Job Description

Role Overview:

The Marketing Lead is responsible for crafting and executing innovative marketing strategies to enhance the institution's brand, boost student enrolments, and position the organization as a leader in the education sector. Reporting directly to the CMO, this pivotal role will shape the marketing function and contribute significantly to achieving strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Marketing Strategy & Leadership

- Develop and implement a holistic marketing strategy to elevate the institution's brand and academic offerings.

- Ensure alignment of marketing efforts with organizational goals by collaborating with leadership and academic teams.

2. Brand Management

- Establish and sustain a cohesive and unique brand identity across all communication platforms.

- Maintain consistency in brand messaging to enhance clarity and impact across channels.

- Boost brand awareness and reputation using a mix of traditional (ATL/BTL) and modern (digital, PR, social media) approaches.

3. Digital Marketing & Innovation

- Lead digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, content marketing, and social media campaigns.

- Optimize campaign performance through data analysis, ensuring better targeting and maximizing ROI.

- Innovate digital strategies to engage key audiences like prospective students and alumni.

4. Student Acquisition & Enrolment

- Drive targeted campaigns to attract and recruit high-calibre students.

- Build partnerships with education agencies, platforms, and influencers to enhance recruitment.

- Track enrolment data and refine marketing strategies to increase conversion rates.

5. Market Research & Competitor Analysis

- Perform detailed market research to understand trends, student needs, and competitive positioning.

- Use insights from research to continually refine strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

6. Stakeholder Engagement

- Partner with internal teams (Admissions, Faculty, Alumni Relations) for cohesive marketing initiatives.

- Develop relationships with external stakeholders like media, influencers, and strategic collaborators.

7. Budget Management & Performance Metrics

- Manage and allocate the marketing budget effectively, ensuring cost-efficiency.

- Define and monitor KPIs to assess marketing success and encourage continuous improvement.

Impact:

This role demands a strategic and innovative mindset, capable of navigating the dynamic education landscape. It combines leadership, creativity, and analytical skills to foster growth, enhance brand visibility, and drive measurable outcomes.

What We're Looking For:

- Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; an MBA is strongly preferred.

- Experience: 8-12 years in senior marketing roles with experience in a team management role.

- Track record of building and scaling brands, preferably in the education, technology, or consumer space.

- Experience in Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing & Performance Marketing

- Experience in student acquisition will be a huge plus.

- Excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team.

- Extensive experience in deploying small to large marketing budgets and generating optimal ROI.
