Oracle Database Administrator - SQL/PL-SQL (5-10 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Oracle Enterprise, Oracle APEX, Golden Gate, and Database Vault. This role involves managing and maintaining our Oracle databases to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability.

Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Oracle DBA.

Key Responsibilities :

- Database Management : Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases, ensuring high availability and performance.

- Oracle Enterprise : Utilize Oracle Enterprise Manager for monitoring and managing database environments.

- Oracle APEX : Develop and maintain applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX).

- Golden Gate : Implement and manage Oracle Golden Gate for data replication and integration.

- Database Vault : Configure and manage Oracle Database Vault to enforce security policies and protect sensitive data.

- Performance Tuning : Monitor database performance and perform tuning to optimize efficiency.

- Backup and Recovery : Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies using RMAN and other tools.

- Security : Ensure database security by implementing best practices and using Oracle security features.

- Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve database-related issues promptly.

- Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, procedures, and policies.

Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Skills :

- Proficiency in Oracle Enterprise Manager, Oracle APEX, Oracle Golden Gate, and Oracle Database Vault.

- Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.

- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.

- Familiarity with backup and recovery tools and strategies.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with Oracle Exadata and Oracle Cloud.

- Certification in Oracle Database Administration.
