Procurement Manager

Responsibilities:

- Source, select, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement of materials, components, and equipment required for battery storage systems.

- Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors, evaluating their performance and negotiating contracts to achieve optimal terms.

- Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including engineering and operations teams, to understand requirements and align procurement strategies with business goals.

- Ensure compliance with import and export regulations, managing documentation and logistics for international shipments.

- Oversee inventory management and optimization efforts, ensuring adequate stock levels of MRO products and minimizing excess inventory.

- Utilize zero-based knowledge to challenge existing procurement practices and drive efficiencies in procurement processes.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

- 3-5 years of experience in procurement within the fabrication industry, preferably in renewable energy or related sectors.

- Proven experience in sourcing and procurement of materials, components, and MRO products.

- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build effective supplier relationships.

- Knowledge of import/export regulations and international logistics.

- Familiarity with zero-based knowledge principles and their application in procurement.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions.
