IIIT - Head - Development Office (7-10 yrs)

Overall Responsibility:

- This position is responsible for effectively leading, managing, coordinating, and monitoring program development, fundraising, sponsorship management, and donor communication.

- S/he will provide strategic guidance on Fundraising and Sponsorship to enable and ensure smooth functioning and resource generation for the Institute. S/he is also responsible for maintaining donor relations and ensuring supporter relations are well-maintained.

- S/he will explore, initiate, and build relations for fundraising at national and international levels. Administratively reports to the Registrar and works in collaboration with the Committee.

Job Responsibilities:

- This position works as part of the Institute's senior management team to ensure that there is effective coordination of all activities in support of the Institute's objectives.

- This position reviews and develops the strategy in Resource Generation and ensures the implementation of the strategic objectives assigned in Resource Generation.

- Is responsible for leading/supporting various Institute's corporate responsibility activities beyond Fundraising/Sponsorship such as governance processes, campaigns, events, etc.

- Establish, maintain, and oversee all the necessary and relevant external communications related to donors (Institutional and High value) and Funding Affiliates.

- This position provides periodic input and advice at board meetings on matters in Resource Generation (as and when requested/ instructed) by the board.

- Develop and prepare budget and Resource Generation planning to ensure that the control of expenditure and the disbursement of resources in Resource Generation are in accordance with the established procedures.

- Consistently work towards strategizing and executing initiatives that promote resource generation through various means.

- Is responsible for the Institute's image and brand building
