Who We're Looking For :

We are seeking a Quality Engineer with 2-4 years of experience in manual functional testing and quality assurance to join our dedicated QA team.

As part of our high-quality culture, you'll collaborate with product engineers, business analysts, and delivery teams to ensure exceptional product quality.

Your role will involve analyzing requirements, creating test cases, and executing testing strategies to deliver outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze and understand requirements, identifying gaps and ensuring comprehensive coverage.

- Design and maintain test cases to achieve 100% test coverage.

- Create and manage a Requirement Traceability Matrix at all phases of the testing lifecycle.

- Oversee end-to-end testing of systems with multiple dependencies.

- Prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively in dynamic environments.

- Execute test scripts, log defects, and maintain records in defect tracking tools.

- Report daily execution status and insights to stakeholders.

Required Skills :

Education : BE/BTech in Computer Science, Engineering (Computer/Electronics/Electrical), MCA, or MS.

Experience : 2-4 years in product manual functional testing and quality assurance.

- Strong knowledge of software testing concepts, including :

1. Testing lifecycle phases and deliverables.

2. Test design techniques for scenarios and test cases.

3. Test methodologies and levels (Unit, Integration, System, UAT).

4. Functional vs. Non-Functional Testing.

5. Regression test suite creation and execution.

- Proficiency in testing within Agile project frameworks and understanding bug life cycles.

- Experience with test and defect management tools such as ALM, JIRA, or Microsoft tools.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain project architectures clearly.

What Will Set You Apart :

- Certifications : ISTQB Foundation/Expert Level, Scrum Master Certification.

- Experience in the Energy & Utilities domain (Electric, Solar, Gas, Water services).

- Familiarity with API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or Swagger.

- Knowledge of Selenium/Appium automation tools with Java and TestNG.

- Ability to modify existing scripts and analyze automated test results.

- Basic understanding of database integration, including concepts like Joins, Subqueries, and Group By.

- Strategic thinking with a focus on customer mindset and problem-solving.

- Ability to adapt to new technologies and business functions quickly.
