Job Description :
We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and configuring applications on the ServiceNow platform, working with various modules (such as ITSM, ITOM, and ITBM), and customizing the platform to meet client requirements.
As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow applications and solutions that meet business needs while ensuring quality, scalability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and implement custom applications, modules, and workflows on the ServiceNow platform.
- Customize and configure ServiceNow out-of-the-box applications, including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Service Catalog, and Knowledge Management.
- Develop Business Rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, UI Actions, and Scheduled Jobs to meet business and process requirements.
- Integrate ServiceNow with other third-party systems and tools (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP, monitoring tools, email systems) using REST/SOAP web services and IntegrationHub.
- Automate workflows and processes using ServiceNow's Flow Designer and Orchestration capabilities.
- Build and maintain inbound and outbound integrations, ensuring data flow consistency across systems.
- Develop complex client scripts, business rules, and script includes to automate processes and improve user experience.
- Customize ServiceNow forms, fields, and reports to align with the customer's business processes.
- Ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices in ServiceNow development.
- Identify and resolve system performance issues, such as slow load times or inefficient workflows.
- Perform debugging and troubleshooting on ServiceNow applications, providing solutions to meet user and business needs.
- Maintain and monitor existing applications to ensure ongoing performance and availability.
- Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and end-users to understand requirements and provide technical solutions that align with business objectives.
- Provide training and support to end-users, including the creation of user guides and knowledge base articles.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring the quality and security of the developed code.
- Document technical solutions and processes to ensure clarity for other developers and stakeholders.
- Stay current with the latest ServiceNow releases, features, and best practices.
- Recommend improvements to existing ServiceNow implementations to increase system efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with other developers and IT teams to ensure the integration of new features and modules into existing solutions.
Technical Skills :
- Strong experience with ServiceNow development, including customizing and extending the platform (e.g., Business Rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts).
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow modules such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Service Catalog, and Knowledge Management.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow scripting languages, including JavaScript, Glide scripting, and ServiceNow APIs.
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and IntegrationHub.
- Proficient in developing custom applications, workflows, and automation using ServiceNow's Flow Designer and Orchestration
