Accounts & Taxation Manager

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts and Taxation Manager to oversee and manage the financial operations of the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all taxation laws and regulations, preparing accurate financial statements, managing audits, and providing strategic financial advice to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting and Financial Management:

Oversee daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.

Prepare and analyze financial statements.

Ensure accurate maintenance of general ledger accounts and financial records.

Taxation Compliance:

Manage all direct and indirect tax matters, including GST, income tax, and corporate tax.

Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and compliance with applicable laws.

Handle tax assessments, audits, and liaison with tax authorities.

Audit and Internal Controls:

Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure compliance with audit recommendations.

Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Regulatory Compliance:

Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and tax regulations.

Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements for financial and tax reporting.

Team Management and Coordination:

Lead and mentor the accounting and taxation team, ensuring skill development and productivity.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and guidance.

Education: CA

Experience: 5+ years of experience in accounting and taxation, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

Soft Skills:

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong leadership and team management abilities.
