Job Description.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst with expertise in Investment Banking (IB) and Custody operations.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial services, custody operations, and investment banking processes.

They will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring successful project delivery and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

Requirement Gathering and Analysis : .

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.

- Analyze and prioritize requirements to align with business goals.

Solution Design :

- Work with technical teams to design and implement solutions that meet business needs.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Process Improvement :

- Identify inefficiencies in existing processes and recommend improvements.

- Drive automation and digital transformation initiatives.

Stakeholder Management :

- Act as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and external vendors.

- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to ensure alignment.

Testing and Validation :

- Develop test cases and validate solutions to ensure they meet business requirements.

- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and resolve issues as needed.

Documentation :

- Prepare detailed business requirement documents (BRD), functional specifications, and process flows.

- Maintain up-to-date documentation for audit and compliance purposes.

Key Requirements :

Experience :

- 7+ years : Hands-on experience in business analysis within Investment Banking and Custody domains.

- 9+ years : For senior roles, demonstrated leadership in large-scale projects and stakeholder management.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in tools like MS Excel, SQL, and data visualization platforms.

- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

- Knowledge of custody systems, trade lifecycle, and settlement processes.

Domain Expertise :

- Strong understanding of Investment Banking operations, custody services, and financial instruments.

- Awareness of regulatory frameworks such as FATCA, CRS, and MiFID.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certifications such as CFA, FRM, or CBAP.

- Experience with global custody platforms and cross-border transactions.

- Prior experience working in a high-paced financial services environment.
