Position: Office Add-ins Developer (COM Addin)

Ictect: the intelligent content company has a special position available for Office Add-ins Developer using VSTO/COM Addin, to help augment the development of our patented intelligent content product. You will be part of an amazing, worldwide team based in Burlington, USA and Bhopal, India, with opportunities to work from anywhere in India.  

Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Design and develop applications based on Office APIs. 
2. Design and develop VSTO.
3. Understanding of Office Open XML.
4. Passion for the emerging field of intelligent content architecture, which includes grammar, sentence structure, machine readability, formatting, semantics, parsing and markup. 
5. Understanding of working with XML, XSLT, and XSD.
6. Some exposure with VBA macros.

Desired Experience:

1. Experience with VSTO, COM Add-ins, Word PIAs (Primary Interop Assemblies), C# .NET.
2. Strong knowledge of Open XML SDK.
3. Exposure to Office App development (Word Online) is addon.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
5. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, or a related field. 
• Proven experience of minimum 2 years in word add-in development.
