Aviation Trainer/ Faculty (Mumbai)

Aviation Faculty position would typically require a strong understanding of aviation operations, safety procedures, relevant regulatory compliance, and the ability to deliver training on various aspects of airport ground services, including passenger handling, baggage operations, aircraft marshaling, and ground support equipment operation, to aspiring aviation professionals; often demanding a commercial pilot license (CPL) or relevant aviation certifications, along with experience in the industry. Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering Training Modules:Designing and conducting comprehensive training programs on various aspects of airport operations like passenger check-in, boarding procedures, baggage handling, aircraft ground support, and safety regulations, adhering to DGCA guidelines.
• Theoretical and Practical Instruction:Providing classroom lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on training on airport equipment like baggage carts, tow tractors, and ground support vehicles.
• Student Evaluation:Assessing student performance through practical exercises, written tests, and simulations to ensure competency in aviation ground handling procedures.
• Maintaining Training Standards:Staying updated with the latest industry practices, safety protocols, and regulatory changes to incorporate them into training programs.
• Mentorship and Guidance:Providing individual support to students, addressing their queries, and guiding them through their learning journey.

Required Qualifications:

• Educational Background:Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Aviation Certifications:Commercial Pilot License (CPL) preferred, or relevant aviation certifications like DGCA Ground Staff license.
• Work Experience:Minimum 2-5 years of experience in airport operations, preferably in a ground handling or training role at a major Indian airport. Corporate training will be an added advantage.
• Technical Skills:Proficiency in aviation safety regulations, airport operational procedures, and knowledge of ground support equipment.
