Business Acquisition Manager

Required Skills and Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in business development, preferably in the skill development,
vocational Education, NSQF Ecosystem, Govt Education, Experience of working with Pan India sarba siksha abhijan.
Proficiency in MS Office, & different tender portals including E-proc, GEM etc.

Business Development & Strategy:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the skill development sector, including government tenders, CSR projects, and private sector collaborations.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the organisations reach.
• Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify gaps and opportunities.

Partnership & Stakeholder Management:

• Establish and maintain relationships with government agencies, corporate partners, NGOs, and other key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with industry bodies and policymakers to align organisational goals with national skill development priorities.
• Manage and nurture long-term client relationships to ensure repeat business and referrals.

Proposal & Contract Management:

• Lead the preparation of proposals, presentations, and bids for government and corporate projects.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favourable terms and ensure compliance with organisational policies.
• Monitor project execution to ensure alignment with agreed deliverables and outcomes.

Target Achievement:

• Drive acquisition of new projects from central and state-sponsored programmes (e.g., NSDC, PMKVY, state-specific skill development missions).
• Ensure successful execution and timely delivery of secured projects.
• Monitor project milestones and ensure achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs).

Team Collaboration & Reporting:

• Work closely with the operations, training, and marketing teams to align business development goals with overall organisational objectives.
• Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on business development activities and outcomes.
• Train and mentor junior team members to enhance their business development capabilities.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience in working with government tenders and CSR funding.
  Familiarity with vocational training programs and skill development certifications.
  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  Willingness to travel as needed.
