QA Engineer

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join our dynamic global QA team. In this role, you will play a key part in building our automation testing framework from the ground up, while also engaging in extensive manual testing to ensure the highest quality of our software products. You will work closely with developers, QA analysts, and other stakeholders to develop, implement, and maintain robust testing strategies that balance manual and automated testing approaches.

• Develop Automation Framework: Design, develop, and implement an automated testing framework tailored to our specific needs using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Manual Testing: Conduct thorough manual testing to validate software functionality, identify defects, and ensure that the user experience meets high standards of quality.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA analysts to understand software requirements and translate them into effective test cases.
• Manual and Automated Test Execution: Execute both manual and automated test cases, analyse the results, and work with development teams to resolve any issues.
• Process Improvement: Participate in the identification and implementation of process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of both manual and automated QA processes.
• Continuous Integration: Integrate automated test scripts into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure timely and efficient software releases.
• Documentation: Document manual and automated test results, report issues, and track them through to resolution.
• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry best practices, emerging trends in test automation, and advancements in manual testing methodologies.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in both manual and automation testing, with a strong focus on developing automation frameworks.
• Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, and programming languages like Java, Python, or C#.
• Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit, NUnit).
• Strong manual testing skills, including experience with test case design, execution, and defect management.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Experience with performance testing and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
• Relevant certifications in software testing or test automation (e.g., ISTQB, Selenium Certification).
• Experience with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerisation tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
