The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) will participate in the design, implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of infrastructure for all applicable products and services managed by the ITOps Team.

They will work closely with Development, PQA, Operations, and Quality & Compliance to ensure delivery of maintainable, secure, and performant systems. They will assist in selecting, configuring, supporting, and scaling tools and technologies used by our team to build a highly scalable and reliable environment. Essential Job Duties: Deploy and support systems in accordance with Merative methodology, practice, and standards. Install, maintain, and build necessary tools and infrastructure.

Assist with quality investigations and incident reports. Participate in an on-call rotation to provide production support. Document actions and processes. Perform other duties as assigned.

Ability to come up to speed on a complex server environment. Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to multitask; can set priorities and follow a timeline. Demonstrate rational thinking in crisis situations. Effective time management skills.

Drive a customer-focused culture, committed to continuous improvement. Eager to learn new skills, technology, and software applications. Excellent oral and written communications skills. Basic Qualifications: Required (Three of the following at a minimum).

2+ years hands-on experience with complex systems. 2+ years Public Cloud Experience (network, storage, configuration). Experience in a scripting language (Shell, Ruby, Python, etc). Experience with patching RedHat Linux and the RHEL ecosystem and/or Patching Windows Operating Systems.

Experience using DVCS such as Git. Experience with Automated Configuration Management Tools (Ansible, Jenkins, ARM, Chef, etc). Desired. Experience as a full-time developer or system administrator.

Experience working in highly regulated environments (Medical, FinTech, etc). Kubernetes. Technical Skills, (if applicable): See Basic Qualifications. Supervisory Skills, (if applicable): Not Applicable.
