Backend Developer

Qualified candidates will be responsible for:

- Developing and maintaining automation of software solutions in VMware environments
- Writing and executing unit, functional, and integration testcases
- Support integrating enterprise-grade complex VMware cloud environments
- Following compliant procedures and secure engineering best practices

Required education
Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

5-7 years of experience with Python
5-7 years of experience with system automation, scripting, and development

5-7 years of experience with Postgres/anyRDBMS and Cloudant databases
5-7 years of experience with software engineering and testing
3-5 years of experience with Linux system administration or development
Good communication skills in English



Preferred technical and professional experience

5+ years of experience with Python, Go, or Elixir
5+ years of experience with RESTful APIs

5+ years of experience with GitHub issue and code management

3+ years of experience with Ansible
3+ years of experience with VMware administration
3+ years of experience with VMware API integration development
3+ years of experience with vRealize Operations/LogInsights
3+ years of experience with Cloud networking, including VMware NSX
3+ years of experience with IBM Cloud API integration development
3+ years of experience with Windows Active Directory administration or development
3+ years of experience with Windows SQL server administration or development
3+ years of experience with Jenkins build and platforms
3+ years of experience with Web UI development
3+ years of experience with networking, and network security components, firewalls, gateways
3+ years of experience with secure engineering principles and best practices
