Job Description: Cypress Automation Engineer.

Location: Bengaluru, Hybrid.

Experience Level: 5+ years.

We are looking for a skilled Cypress Automation Engineer to take ownership of deliverables, drive changes, and enhance quality across the software development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in automation testing, integration, and performance testing while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities :

- Take ownership of deliverables and ensure high-quality outputs.

- Drive change initiatives to improve processes and product quality.

- Develop, execute, and maintain automated tests for API, UI, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) workflows.

- Design and execute performance testing to ensure system reliability and scalability.

- Create, maintain, and enhance testing frameworks using Cypress, Playwright, and possibly Squish.

- Collaborate with developers to test backend frameworks such as Quarkus and Spring.

- Document test strategies, plans, and results effectively.

- Support manual testing where necessary to validate critical functionalities.

- Ensure adherence to best practices in software quality assurance and testing.

Must-Have Skills :

- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.

- Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Cypress, Playwright, and Squish (preferred).

- Strong understanding of performance testing techniques and tools.

- Experience in integration, API, UI, and E2E testing.

- Familiarity with backend frameworks such as Quarkus and Spring.

- Knowledge of ISTQB-certified testing principles and methodologies.

- Java programming skills are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to improve existing testing processes.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
