Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead Generation & Prospecting:
    • Conduct research to identify potential customers within assigned target markets.
    • Utilize CRM tools, email campaigns, and cold calling to generate qualified leads.
  2. Product Consultation & Sales:
    • Engage with leads through phone, email, and video calls to understand their educational requirements.
    • Provide in-depth product demonstrations and answer client inquiries about features and benefits.
    • Tailor EdTech solutions based on customer needs and pain points.
  3. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and nurture strong relationships with prospective clients to encourage retention and referrals.
    • Maintain detailed and accurate records of client interactions and sales activities in CRM systems.
  4. Collaboration with Teams:
    • Work with marketing teams to align on campaigns, promotions, and new lead opportunities.
    • Partner with the product team to gather client feedback and suggest improvements for offerings.
  5. Achievement of Sales Targets:
    • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
    • Consistently achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as call targets, lead conversion rates, and revenue goals.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelors degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
  2. Proven experience (1–3 years) in an inside sales role, preferably within the EdTech industry or SaaS products.
  3. Strong consultative sales and negotiation skills.
  4. Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Ability to manage multiple clients and leads in a fast-paced environment.

Key Skills Required

  • Sales strategy and pipeline management.
  • Strong interpersonal and persuasive skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM platforms.
  • Knowledge of the EdTech domain, including online learning platforms and curriculum alignment (preferred).
